Research focus

Eva Gößwein is a PhD student at the chair of General Psychology: Cognition at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She is educated in Applied Cognition and Media Science (M.Sc.), Learning Psychology (B.A.), and Political Sciences (B.A).

 

After four years of working as an IT-consultant, Eva Gößwein now focuses on the human part in human machine interaction, bringing together her hands-on experience and formal education. Her current research interest is in how and why humans adapt (or don’t adapt) to a new technology and which factors contribute to a successful adaptation of cutting-edge technologies.

 

She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, European Chapter.
